March 10,1942

I just found this clipping from the "Late News Flashes" in the final edition of the Miami Daily News:

So terribly sad, but this being the Christmas Season, I can't let this post end on an unhappy note.

I have another clipping, which shows how Muriel; one of my two (the other being Mathilde for separate reasons) favorite of Edith's daughters, kept Villa Turicum alive. After selling her home on El Brillo Way (this preceded by Jungle Road) in Palm Beach, Muriel moved to neighboring Via Bellaria and christened the house Villa Turicum.
